A BETTER DAY FOR YOUR DOG
Looking for a fun, safe place for your dog to spend the day? Paw by Paw Dog Daycare gives dogs the opportunity to play, socialize, get some exercise, and enjoy time with their four-legged friends while you're away.
What makes our daycare different? Our staff receive specialized training from professional dog trainers, and we keep our playgroups smaller than traditional daycare facilities. With no more than eight dogs per group, our team can provide more individual attention, closely supervise interactions, and create a more comfortable environment for everyone.
Whether your dog loves making new friends or simply enjoys having a little extra activity in their day, we're here to make their time with us a positive experience.
A Day Full of Play, Walks & Well-Deserved Breaks
We believe dogs get the most out of playtime when they have the right balance of activity and rest. Rather than keeping dogs outside and playing all day, we break up their schedule into shorter, supervised play sessions with opportunities to recharge in between. A typical daycare day includes:
-
2+ Hours of Playtime: At least two hours of total playtime throughout the day, with additional time depending on your dog's comfort level and the day's group.
-
Small Playgroups: No more than eight dogs per group, allowing for closer supervision and more individual attention.
-
Supervised Socialization: All playtimes are monitored by our specially trained staff to help keep interactions safe and positive.
-
Regular Walks: Dogs enjoy walks throughout the day, typically lasting 5–10 minutes each hour.
-
Scheduled Rest Breaks: Dogs have downtime between play sessions to relax, recharge, and get ready for more fun.
Why Choose Paw By Paw Dog Daycare?
-
A Team That Understands Dogs: Our daycare staff receive specialized training from professional dog trainers, giving them additional knowledge and experience when it comes to dog behavior, communication, and group play.
-
Smaller Groups, More Attention: We intentionally limit playgroups to no more than eight dogs. Smaller groups make it easier for our team to monitor interactions, get to know each dog, and provide more individualized attention.
-
Playtime That's Thoughtfully Managed: More play isn't always better! By rotating shorter play sessions with rest periods and walks, we help dogs enjoy their time with us without becoming overly tired or overstimulated.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will my dog be crated during daycare?
Yes. Dogs are crated between playtimes to give them an opportunity to rest and recharge. These breaks help prevent dogs from becoming overly tired and allow them to return to play feeling refreshed.
How much time will my dog spend out of the crate or playing?
Dogs receive a minimum of two hours of playtime throughout the day. Play sessions may be longer depending on how your dog does with the group and how many dogs are attending that day. Dogs also enjoy hourly walks lasting approximately 5–10 minutes.
How do you introduce dogs to one another?
We take a gradual approach to introductions. Dogs are initially introduced to other dogs with similar sizes and temperaments. As they become comfortable, we slowly work up to larger groups, with no more than eight dogs per playgroup.
